Welcome to Wyong Preschool
Wyong Preschool is a non-profit community based preschool which was founded in 1975. We have provided quality early childhood education and care to the Wyong community for over 45 years.
We are open Monday to Friday from 8.15am – 3.45pm during School Terms for 41 weeks a year. We provide an educational program for 60 children a day between the ages of 3 and 5 years.
Our curriculum
Our curriculum embraces The Early Years Framework which has a strengths based perspective with a strong focus on learning through play. We have highly qualified educators who provide rich inclusive learning environments to promote engagement, interactive learning, exploration and problem solving.
Our practice and interactions are guided by Early Childhood Australia’s Code of Ethics and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of a Child.
Our Beautiful Natural Environment
We pride ourselves on our beautiful natural environment for which the children have opportunities to immerse themselves in nature. Through this connection with nature we actively foster respect and responsibility in caring for the natural world.
Management Committee
Our preschool is managed by a Management Committee made up of volunteer parents/carers of the children attending the preschool and interested community members. The Management Committee, also known as the Approved Service Provider works alongside the Nominated Supervisor and staff to ensure the preschool meets all National Government regulations relating to the operation of an early education and care service.
The preschool is funded by the NSW Government which ensures that fees are kept to the minimum and affordable to families in our community.
